There are more than 1849 endogenous volatile organic compounds (VOC) identified in healthy humans, many of which can be detected in the breath. Molecules such as hydrogen sulfide, acetone, isoprene, nitric oxide, hydrogen cyanide and formaldehyde, have unique properties and are proven biomarkers of specific diseases. Our current focus is on diagnosing and monitoring vascular disorders using transdermal measurements of hydrogen sulfide.
